This afternoon, this evening and overnight, there will be showers and thunderstorms, some of which will be heavy. However, there will also be longer dry spells in between.

A northerly foehn wind is picking up, with maximum temperatures ranging from 17°C in the upper Puster Valley to 28°C in the Unterland.

A south-westerly flow is bringing in moist air masses.
Overcast and becoming increasingly wet. The first showers will develop by midday and spread throughout the afternoon and evening. In some places, there may be heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.

Weak high pressure conditions.
Sun and clouds will alternate with isolated showers. The wind will shift from westerly to south-westerly and pick up as the day progresses.

Thursday will be partly to heavily cloudy. During the day there will only be localised showers, but a weather front bringing heavy rain in places is expected to arrive in the evening and overnight. On Friday, the rain will quickly ease off and it will become sunny across most areas. Saturday is likely to be quite sunny with only isolated showers. Sunday also looks set to be mainly sunny.
