High air pressure and subtropical air masses are once again ensuring a typical midsummer Sunday.
The conditions in the mountains are ideal, even for longer hikes. The sun shines all day long, with at most a few thin high clouds appearing.

South Tyrol will remain under the influence of high pressure, but the air masses are becoming more unstable.
To begin with, the sun looks set to shine widely once again. From the afternoon onwards, however, we can expect the odd thunderstorm, with the highest probability of these occurring in the evening.

On Tuesday, the sun will shine across much of the region, with the likelihood of thunderstorms increasing slightly from the afternoon onwards. It will be hot once again, with temperatures reaching up to 31°. A cold front is expected on Wednesday; rain showers are likely across much of the region and temperatures will drop noticeably. On Thursday, a northerly foehn wind will bring an improvement in the weather and it will be sunny again. As things stand today, Friday is also set to be sunny with a few clouds.
