High cloud cover may at times weaken or obscure the sunshine today. During the afternoon, cloud breaks will become more frequent.

Maximum temperatures will range from 1° in the Pustertal to 6° in the southern valleys.

A weak high-pressure system is bringing calm weather.
Extensive high clouds far above the peaks provide subdued sunshine and, in some cases, diffuse lighting conditions. Overall, however, the impression is predominantly pleasant.

The southern side of the Alps will remain under a weak influence of high pressure within a westerly upper-level flow.
Across South Tyrol’s mountains, sunshine will be frequent, with periods of high cloud moving in from the west. At the start of the day, areas of low stratus will affect the southern valleys.

Thursday will often start cloudy, but from around midday sunshine will break through from the west. On Friday, clouds will dominate, with sunshine appearing only locally. In the evening, first light precipitation is possible in southern areas. Saturday will be very cloudy, with some precipitation affecting the southern parts of the region. On Sunday, dense cloud will persist, with light rain or snow falling in places.
